Fidalgo
I just pulled the LR Baggs Element out of my already lightweight Gibson J35. I weighed it and its roommate on the digital scale. 2014 Gibson J35 mahogany/Sitka: 3.80 lb 2016 Larrivee SD40 mahogany/Sitka 12 fret: 4.33 lb My old D18 and J15 weighed about the same as the Larrivee, and the E6D was over 5 lbs. Bozz
My Gibson's weigh in as follows: 2014 J-35 3 lb. 15 oz. 2014 Hummingbird New Vintage 3 lb. 15 oz. 2015 J-45 Iced Tea 3 lb. 15 oz. 2015 J-45 Custom 4 lb. 15oz. 2015 Sheryl Crow SJ 4 lb. 5 oz. I love light builds and 4 out 5 on the list feel pretty light and responsive in my hands. The J-45 Custom is the exception and it feels pretty stiff and heavy in comparison to the others. That's not really a surprise though, with its rosewood back and sides, inlays, and heavy Rotomatics.
