Topics I've Started

  1. GUITAR COLLECTING

    19 July 2017 - 11:22 AM

We guitar folks have a way of accumulating lots of instruments. Granted, there are exceptions, but most of us appear to enjoy multiple choices. I've come to the conclusion that my main motive is pretty simple: if they make me happy, they stay. If not, they go. Wondering how others on the forum rationalize their multi-guitar addictions....
  2. GIBSON CLASSICAL GUITARS

    07 July 2017 - 06:54 PM

I've been around Gibson guitars for a lot of years, and just got wondering if anyone has experience with any of Gibson's classicals. My only encounters have been with C-O and C-1 models.
  3. BEATER GUITARS

    02 July 2017 - 06:34 PM

With the impending arrival of July 4, it feels like beater guitar season is upon us as well. Got wondering what sort(s) of 'beaters' my fellow members use. I'll confess to an Epi EJ200 Artist😎
  4. Kris Kristofferson Concert

    20 May 2017 - 09:02 PM

Just got back from seeing Kristofferson in concert. Just the man and his guitar. Two 45 minute sets - sang songs back-to-back with no interruptions - excellent show! My wife got past security (as usual) and talked w/him briefly after the concert - altogether, a fine evening.

Hello OC...I was just reading the post on The battle of Long Tan and saw that you are a Marine. Good for you where were you stationed? The reason I ask is that I was in the Navy and was stationed at MCAS El Toro in southern CA for 2 1/2 years.
