  1. Used to listen to those old Cosby comedy albums. Who puts the dip sign 5 feet before you get to the dip.
  2. Sounds killer. I blew off setting it up. My friend and his wife invited me over for margaritas and home made tacos. I'll set it up tomorrow. I love a D-18.
  3. Get 7 years out of one and I will. I got years left on it. Probably have it until I die unless I lose it.
  4. It is when I got my first one in 2013 still have it and it has a smidge of wear.
  5. You can drink bud or micro brews. It's a personal choice.
  6. I only played one Collings in Carter's in Nashville. I remember it not sucking. Congrats.
  7. We may have to ask Eric The Half Bee or Harry "Snapper" Organs
  8. You can but you might get arrested and go to jail afterwerds.
  9. I got that one on vinyl. That poor donkey.
  10. If you're never going to sell it it doesn't matter.
  11. You just got it and you're worried about the resale value?
  12. My wife made a scrap book for me of my tix. It's gonna be hard to lose it.
  13. I lost one for a day. Then realized I put it in my left pocket instead of my right. I said some bad words that day.
  14. I've seen her twice. I think she played a J-45. Did not even know there was a LW D-28.
  15. I've seen The Coasters once. Count Basie came to my junior high school in '79. Our band/music director was a buddy of his. I sat about 30 feet from the Count when he played One O'clock Jump. I still have the ticket stub, as a matter of fact I have almost all of my ticket stubs.
  16. They feel good. Only come in ugly brown. There $35. People scoff at the price, but a lot of the guys here don't bat any eye when laying down 3k for a J-45. I use 35 thickness which is about .9mm. All the picks on the site start at about a 40 thickness (which is in mils). You have to ask for a 35 and that is the thinnest they will go.
  17. For all you Blue Chip Picks fans. Until midnight on Sunday, they are offering free shipping and free engraving on picks. I own two and really dig them. Had mine for a few years and there is literally no wear on them.
  18. He won't return my calls. He must me sucking on chili dogs outside the Tasty Freeze.
  19. Yes owned a few. I like the signature models of Les Paul's. So are those double signature models. How many young kids lusting after one even know what his contribution to music is or know he was a real person? I'm sure some just want to slap their name on it for a check and some get involved.
  20. Saw him with the Dregs in '82 and solo about 3 times. I've met Gregg Allman, Paul Stanley, Jason Isbell, Robert Pollard and a few members of Guided By Voices, all the members of Quarterflash, Richard Thompson, John Hiatt, Tommy Castro, Kevin Kenney of Drivin N Cryin , and all the members of American Music Club.
