  1. !!wow!! I have never seen a Sheraton with a flamed top like that! Good lord, that is beautiful..
  2. It really depends on the guitar. I've 4 acoustics, all have pickup systems, but most of these are very discrete, with controls in the sound hole, (Fishman infinity) my taylor nylon, has three very small control pots on the top shoulder near the neck joint. (Expression system from Taylor) No tuners on board. I've only had one guitar that had one. (A takamini nylon) I like the NS Tuners, as they are nice and small and the sit behind the headstock, and can articulate to almost any position so they can usually be put where only the player can see them.. My Kayla Uke does have a tuner built in to it, it works good and is quite handy, but hte NS Tuners are pretty cheap, work great. The Snarks Super Tights are good tuners, well lit large display, but they are kind of clunky.
  3. I remembered seeing these a few times, and they are clever, but how do you go about replacing the battery? OTOH for Acoustic players, Planet Waves recently released (last year I think) another variant NS Tuner that grabs the top inside your sound hole. All that is visible is the small finger of plastic that sits on the top of the guitar, the rest of the tuner is tucked away in the sound hole where only the player can see it.
  4. the planet waves NS tuners are very small / discrete, and in my experience, they work as good as any of the others, and not quite as obvious.
  5. I was probably the first to report this, and there was literally NO response from eBay to me at all. Anyway, Thanks for clearing that up Paul, you are probably right, eBay must have reached out to the guy. Good to know that someone didn't get boned on this one btw nice knowing that you were on this guys heels... good on ya!
  6. not the same seller apparently.. and CUSTOM J200 "Humingbird"? OOOOhhhkay...
  7. he didn't relist or amend anything Item specifics Condition: New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is ... Read more about the condition Brand: Gibson Model: J 200 Winning bid $2,650.00
  8. about 1 hour left. Current bid $1,950.00... oh the humanity!
  9. ^-- Put the crappy seat belt straps away, and use a better strap (suede, brushed leather) Problem solved...
  10. no substitute for knowing what the f--- you're bidding on. Ignorance is bliss. We did try. I'm over it. Bids are @ $1,400 + now, and did you notice this dork has $150 listed for shipping?
  11. I had thought so, but, yea,, no way to do it now it seems.
  12. I got an email this morning from ebay, asking me how the support experience with them went for me... !!LOL!! of course, I had to fill it out...
  13. it's up to $1,300 now,, someone is hot to trot for this. I feel bad for them,, they clearly have no clue.
  14. We all know the rules here. eBay is for educated buyers when it comes to auctions like this. This seller is a pr!ck and doesn't care. My buddy has a lot of experience, and he assumes they will due something, he's had some involvements with eBay support in the past with hostile/unreasonable buyers sand claims they have done a good job in those instances. But I am not sure how they will follow through with this. Too bad we can message these folks who are bidding, just to give a heads up that it's counterfeit. They are obviously oblivious that they're about to be had.
  15. What is unfortunate is that we can't message the bidders to warn them.. eBay sucks.. I use that crap hole as little as possible. If some one is this frikken dumb, let them loose their money. We did what we could.
  16. This is still active, with 6 people now bidding. 4 days left..
  17. you can't expect much more from a f---tard like this.. he's not responded to my last reply. Any thing he does reply at this point will just be reported. eBay needs to do it's "thing", but they suck too, so if they do nuthin and some chuckle head is dumb enough to not see the obvious and buy it.. tuff darts,,.. a fool born every minute.. we tried..
  18. seems to me, all we hear from them is the sound of silence..
  19. sometimes, it takes a village... and... since we've found our idiot..
  20. GOOD! I bet ya a Jackson this listing vanishes before the end of the day..
  21. Not sure of the location. didn't check,, 18 + feedbacks, so who knows who else he's f'd over but really... what BAWLS! I call him out, he admits it, then justifies it based on his asking price, @2x+ the face value. and yes, I reported it. like I said, f--- these dicks... it had 5 bids, and 40 watchers. are people really this stupid? (rhetorical question)... had he listed it for what it was and put a reasonable price on it, I'd have just laughed and moved on. plus, it's Saturday, I had that kind of time!
  22. maybe I should not have done this, but I sent the seller a message.... moments later he replies and admits it's fake.. That s why it s listed at that price. New authentic j 200 3 to 5 thousand new. I replied back, pointing out he was listing it as a Gibson and trying to sell it for 2x+ what it's worth.. also told him I was going to report it... F--- these dicks..
  23. There are MANY glaring and obvious fails here. The origin of this guitar is China, and was probably bought for $350/400 USD. This A--hole is trying to get 2x+ what it's worth...
