  4. congrats Buc, good luck with the relocation!
  5. You take a big fat dread and switch the 12s to 11s. IME, you'll be putting 12s back on in about 2 days..
  6. Hey Santos, Not likely it broke just sitting around. there's always the outside chance that it was just always this way, and now you're noticing ? A few random thoughts, none of which I would take to the bank How dry is your environment? if very dry, the wood would shrink a bit, and maybe that would be enough to give it some room to move around Another thought, some of these import makers often to not allow the wood fully cure, so things may have a potential to change with the build once the wood figures out it's no longer a tree. Sounds like a costly repair potentially.
  7. I like that finish Ian, looks great. I can't ever see me gigging it, I'll stick with what I'm used to live. never say never! These are so different from what you're used to from the LP, but in some songs, they are just the thing! You'd need to do a quick tweak or two on your amp, drop some of the treble usually,, but you'll get used to that quick enough. I have a few strats and a tele, but I do gravitate more to my LPs and SGs, but I would miss not having a Fender.
  8. ha! do you have to wash em first?
  9. I like that both he receiver and transmitter are both charge/rechargable. no wall warts! for 40 bucks...??? I may have to see what I can find on Amazon..
  10. I will probably get rocks thrown at me, but check out one of these. This will protect your finish until it totally cures. Guitar Sleeve
  11. jaysus…. that was surprisingly good..
  12. 135s had an ABR bridge and trapeze tail piece. usually chrome hardware and unbound F holes does look like a copy of a brydland to me too.
  13. Oh man... what a drag.. I guess you can look on the bright side, she could have just as easily run down the guitar... One of my band mates from some years ago accidentally backed over his rickenbacker 360 one night (It was in the case..). He stopped before the front tire went over it. Amazingly the case actually saved it from serious damage. he was a luck boy..
  14. don't worry murph I see the mind control experiments are going along as planned...
