Antique Acoustics are great. I replaced the Tusq pins on my J-45 Vintage.

Unfortunately no close-ups from the tuning posts. Guess this is the first method he described.
I keep it pretty simple. I also take off all strings at once.

They darken the tone a bit and give it a clear, deep and thumpy bass. Overall the best strings for my 2016 J-45 Vintage.
A close second for me are d'Addario EJ-16.
