  1. I'll probly just sell the SHO clone for like $50 shipped.

Thanks for asking. The recording is going pretty well but I've had some family over from australia for the past 3 weeks so I haven't been able to get together with my friend in a while. We've got a bassist lined up and we're looking for a keys/guitar guy too. Got a new song in the works too. I can send you ...

  2. I've seen the builder post his stuff in the DIY pics thread at ilovefuzz and it looks really nice but I haven't tried any of their stuff in person.

I think Kayzer (aka xtimehascomex on YouTube) has some demos of their stuff.

What are you scopin out by them?

  3. It cut me off. I was gonna say I'll sell them cheap (like hopefully under $100 depending on the cost of the BBD chips).

Just throwin that out there cause good delay pedals are hella expensive.

  4. It sounds awesome on guitar. Quite meaty and woolly indeed with an interesting "bloom" on chords or loud notes and an awesome "ripping" fuzz sound.

Yeah I could make you a SHO or a Super Duper 2 in 1. I have a populated 2 in 1 board I just need to get a box for it and wire it up.

  5. Late reply here

Hey Ken! Thanks for the suggestion, we did go to Kingston Mines and had a great time. The band was great, and the guitarist was playing a crazy triple neck guitar and shredding it up

    Take care!

  6. Oh yeah the smaller tom normally mounts to the handle on the bass drum but they forgot to send him the little mounting bracket so it's on a stand in that pic. He got the bracket now but I took the pic right after he got it.

What do you think? The hoops are mahogany with inlays that match the wrap

  7. Or ya know.. I could just start my own business and make all the money myself. Haha jk go for it if you want. I'm thinking op amp muff for the foundation.

My op amp muff build is nearing completion. It's taken a long time because it's at my brothers house and I don't have a soldering iron. I'm thinking about selling some stuff and putting the money towards diy pr...

  8. Ran out of space there.. I was saying I'll send you an iPhone/el cap recording of part of the new song if you want to hear it.

I hope you really enjoy your vacation man! Take it easy.

  9. Right on man. When you record something you should send it my way! I'd love to hear it, whatever genre it may be.

Also, if you're ever feelin the need for some fuzz soaked amatuer hour riffage you know who to call.

  10. Sucks that you aren’t where you want to be but it’s cool that you won’t have to worry about rent.

You got anyone to jam with over there?

    -Travis

  11. Sweet man. I've been wanting to install a vibrato on my SG too.

I just sold a pedal, so I'm gonna use some of the money to get a new pickguard to fit the p90. So as soon as I get that I'm throwin that sucker in there.

I'm also gonna use some of the money to build some pedals. I'm thinking first off I'll make a super mojo-riffic tonebender MKl clone....

  12. Thanks man. Your guitars are awersome. I love the Wilshire.

But I watched that video (the one that says 1975) and I dug it. It was very tight. It was 70s prog rock sweetness. You rock man!

I was really surprised. Most people on the forum seem to have all the toys but don't know how to play.

Not trying to kiss your ***. I just thought that was a cool jam.

  13. Thanks!

I haven't heard of the germ. Is it based on an old circuit or something?

The one that I wrote the guitar for is "walk over me". Other than that they were songs that they already wrote before I joined the band that I just "contributed" to lol

We're gonna have some more well written and recorded stuff coming out soon though

  14. That sounds interesting. A photo would be cool if you have the time to snap one.

I'm looking to build a Ge Bender and Fuzzrite now :O

  15. That's pretty sweet. I was looking around on that website and they have some really cool stuff.

    I like this hahah

  16. The discount code is summer10 but it's only good until 7/31

how are you likin the new SG anyways man?

  17. Then I think you'd love the El Cap. The repeats tend to sit back in the mix and melt together in a really spacey, atmospheric way. It's great for rhythmic kinda delay usage too but analog delays kinda own that territory IMO.

You might wanna check out the Skreddy Echo as well.

I'll check out the coloration action ASAP. I don't have the Vox right now

  18. They still make ProCo pedals but I believe they're imported from China now and the sound isn't quite there anymore.

It's a shame. They'd probably sell more if they just kept them how they were. I'm not really a distortion guy but this RAT was magical.

I wonder if your friend built the one I just repaired? There were two names on the inside. Dave and Je...

  19. Yeah dude the new kit sounds great! It's much louder than his old one and somehow just sounds way better. Like the kick is just super dry and punchy with no pillow or anything.

I'm really glad you're digging the Small Stone. You're not getting any clipping with it are you? Also do you want me to order you that knob? I forgot about it

  20. Yeah I heard it on the radio when I was driving. I think Henry Rollins was actually DJing when they played it haha

I got to where I was driving and sat in my car for like 5 minutes to hear the name of the band. I was mainly just mesmerized by the drums.

  21. Yeah that demo was done by Ryan, the builder. It was on the breadboard in that demo but I'm pretty sure it's the same as the regular production one.

    Dr Scientist rocks.

Dude you should join us over at ILF. It's not just fuzz, or really just pedals. But mostly pedals haha. There's a section about DIY and a buy/sell/trade where you can get the sweetest deals.

  22. Yeah there are so many different pedals it can be confusing.

Fuzz and delay are definately the two best types though.

What kinda fuzzes are you looking at?

AC30s sound AWESOME with fuzz btw. It's pretty much always a good combo.

  23. Yo dem00n have you checked out the Dr Scientist The Elements? I saw this demo today and it made me think of you

What do you think man? I think this was recorded with a camera mic, so take that and YouTube compression into consideration haha

  24. Yo Fred you gave me an idea for a gnarly Muff that I want to build.

I wanna take a good ol Big Muff circuit, replace the sustain pot with a resistor, and totally omit the tone control.

Socket the diodes and resistor in place of the sustain pot and see what sounds cool, and maybe add a starve.

Whaddaya think man? I'm gonna have to do it. I can't stop thin...
