Gibson guitars are works of art but I've never seen anything more beautiful than the Slash Les Paul Standard Anaconda Burst!

Unfortunately for me and thousands of other lefty's who might want to buy one there is no left handed version, I've asked Gibson and they've said they don't make them.

Considering 10% of guitarists are lefties (including subjectively the 2 greatest ever, both of which have signature Gibson guitars) surely it would be in Gibson's interest to offer left handed versions on new release guitars?

Even Hendrix's 67 SG Custom only comes in a righty which I know he played upside down with all the knobs in the way but that was 50 years ago. He's a left handed guitar god so honour him.

Please Gibson, make a leftie Anaconda Burst along with some other models and show us some leftie love.

    I wish you luck, bud.

Let's get this topic back on track.  I got a summons for Jury Duty last Thursday for the week of August 9. 🙂

But, it's so much fun (NOT!) to get off track!

Anyway, I've been called several times.  I've only served three times.  Two were city court cases [60 in a 45 mph zone down a city street (guilty) and a  car vandalism case (guilty).]  I served as the jury foreman in one of those two; I just don't remember which one.

The third was a county court case - a divorce trial.  That case lasted a week and a half.

There was an enormous discrepancy between his earnings and her potential to earn and provide, and it was the judge's job to split the property and established the child support payment.  Our job (the jury's job) was only to determine custody of the two children.  We awarded joint custody with his residence as the primary residence.

I think it's against the law to dock an employee's pay and to require that they use accrued vacation/PTO while they're on jury duty, so I didn't miss any pay at work or lose any vacation time.  Plus, for jury duty, the city/county paid me five bucks a day.  WOO HOO!

Roland Microcube, Peavey acoustic, Kalamazoo Model 1, Tennamp 1x15 Pro, Tennamp Tweedle Dee Deluxe, '74 Bassman 1x15 Combo, Tennamp Pro Jr., '78 Champ, '74 Deluxe Reverb, '66 Deluxe Reverb, '72 Princeton Reverb, Tennamp Reverb unit in rear.  Leslie 125 not pictured.  I have a '52 Gibson BR-6 basket case too.

The Gibson BR-6 basket case - THAT was a great amp.

  4. Happy Birthday badbluesplayer!

I saw a new commercial just today.  If you can't get a-hold of Namath, now you can also call Jimmy J. J. Dy-no-mite Walker.  If you need a reverse mortgage, call Tom Selleck.  At least Joe Montana is hawking Guinness.

I myself turned 70 on Juneteenth.  It took 70 years, but now my birthday is a federal holiday.  WOO HOO!

  5. Hey Shay, welcome to the forum.  I'm sorry I can't help you with the Kramer.  I just don't know anything about 'em.  Surely someone here might be able to answer your question.

You might try posting this on The Gibson Lounge forum.

I think he just typed a s-hit load of random keys for his screen name.

Every letter he typed except one (the i) is on the middle row of letters on the keyboard.
