I want one too but it's a bit too much like my Dot.

If I decide against a casino I might pick one up and put HB-sized P-90's in it.

Hmmm, not really... I own and play both. The 339 Pro is much more flexible sound wise (plus I think the pick-ups just sound better. My DOT has the original "Designed By Gibson" Alnico Humbuckers in it - fine pups on their own) with the coil taps, and much more comfortable size wise. I think the necks are pretty similar in their size and shape. Of cours, YMMV

The best I can hope for you is that you enjoy your Pro as much as I enjoy my Ultra.

Love the body and overall feel as well as the sound/tone. I can't believe they are able to make such fantastic instruments for their price.

Congrats and Enjoy!

You do have a point about the coil tapping. I could make that a future project on my Dot though. I like the size of it and I have had quality custom knockoffs of classic 57's by Harpmaster placed in it (along with a high quality bridge & a tusq nut), and it sounds remarkable.

My point was really that I don't have enough $$$ to buy guitars that are too similar. For now, I have my humbucking 335-ish guitar. I also want a Casino or something sort of like it, like maybe a Xaviere xv-910, and a tele.

But the overall point was... those 339s are frikkin hot, and I want one badly... but that's as far as it will likely go.

Cheers.
