zombywoof Posted May 3, 2013 Share Posted May 3, 2013 I never heard my father swear, but he did say "shoot" a lot (and he was using it as an interjection, not a verb). My Grandfather would never swear in Englisg in fron of ki9ds or grandkids. He wpould let loose in Russian. I once asked me grandmother what he was saying and she said he didn't really know himself - only that it was bad. My father-in-law though is one of those "What the Sam Hill" guys. I think that you have a very special '63 SJ.....I would say Exc......The tone that you might find on 1 out 4 SJ,s of similar vintage! I have played some that were lackluster and some that had the bass 'thump' as yours does and that I absolutely crave in a guitar...
