I agree. You are so right. I've heard Epiphones that sound better.. Hey, you asked! lol JC
BigKahune
. It sounds a bit thin and tinny to me. Maybe it's the mic - not enough low end coming through. To me, not impressive enough for $47,999 (Elderly MAP) - such an over the top price. I certainly wouldn't throw over my D-45 VR for that one. . Too many variables: Are the speakers on your computer reproducing accurate sound? Is the microphone used in the recording picking everything up? Just my $.02, but until you hear it in person, it is really difficult to judge the sound of any guitar.

Which in itself present a secondary argument, if you can't hear it how much use is it?
JuanCarlosVejar
I'm baffled by the fact that they would do a demo of the guitar and not care about preparing the gear to record right . I heard a D 45 Koa (I think) from these same people , same guy played and it sounded wonderful !!! JC

My computer audio goes through my stereo system and I've listened to many demos. Demoing a $48K, you'd expect these guys to make sure it sounds spectacular. Strange. Here's a GS Mini ($600), same guy, same mic - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrsaJu6rY24&feature=c4-overview&list=UUlj439uiUH81HEuegUQT6ig
Fullmental Alpinist
am I deaf or am I just not a BR guy ? JC You're obviously not deaf. And I think you've already established that you're not a BR guy: :) FMA PS: Loved the line "This is a guitar that a songwriter would fall in love with." Yeah, maybe if he's got a wallet like Burt Bacharach.
