Big Arm Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Went down to Guitar Center and found a Blackstar HT5 amp head and cabinets. They had only one in a box other than the demo, so I bought it! It sounded pretty good in the store. When we get back to Montana, we will see how it sounds in the cabin with the ES-345.
Guitar slinger Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Never heard of that amp before! But it really looks to be a good amp. It must have some solid tones, for sure. Long live to the low-powered tube amps =)

Murph Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 An ES-345 would sound good through a Peavey! Best of luck. Murph.
Californiaman Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Congratulations on the new amp. Low watt tube amps can be so good. I love my new 5-watt Gibson Goldtone Les Paul Jr. Amp. I'm sure that it well keep you company throughout the winter and well into the years that follow.
