blindboygrunt
Is there a difference in a square shoulder gibson case and a round shoulder ? Could I , for example , put my j45 in a hummingbird case and vice versa ??
Buc McMaster
Same same. Cases are the same.

craig_no
Same same. Cases are the same. Hmmm. I have a stock J-45 and OHSC...fits like a glove. I can't imagine getting a square-shouldered guitar in there. Even if the upper bouts were the same, wouldn't the wider waist of the HB be too wide? gov
yea--no way a bird fits in my SJ case which is the only "gibson" case I own.

j45nick
I would be a bit cautious on this one. Try before you buy. I have one slope-J case (a custom Cali Girl) that I don't think could possibly fit a square-shoulder guitar, but several others that might. The stock TKL J-45 case seems to have padding that is thick enough and soft enough to accommodate a square dread. But I wouldn't count on it without trying the guitar in the case.
