Pylon Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 Greetings everyone, Just got a 2014 Melody Maker for my first electric guitar and I have noticed an oddity with it. I'm not sure if the 3-way selector switch is working properly. Rhythm Setting: Only the top volume control works (I think this is correct as it is only the neck pup) Middle Setting: Both volume controls affect the volume (I think this is correct as each volume controls either neck or bridge pup?) Treble Setting: Both volume controls affect the volume (This seems to be wrong? I also noticed right out of the box the switch is really flimsy and does not "click" into the treble setting) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers! Pylon Posted February 23, 2014 Author Share Posted February 23, 2014 One of the techs told me to look inside the switch and whammo, one of the pins was bent.
