bobouz Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I'm not a big fan of sunbursts, but that one is beautifully done!
BluesKing777 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Beautiful! Wrap it and send it, thanks. Oh forgot, guitar fund plundered for Martin om18v........ BluesKing777.
zombywoof Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I am too much of a traditionalist to own a guitar with a Koa body unless it is a Weissenborn. I rest easy at night figuring Gibson got it right the first time around and there is just no way to improve on it.

Zomby, I know Martin made a lot of Koas as early as the '20's, does anyone know if Gibson made any traditional guitars with Koa back in the day????

I know Martin jumped on the Hawaiian music bandwagon early on and started making guitars with Koa by the mid-1920s. I have never run across any Gibson made with Koa though.
