capmaster
In most cases, Tree of Life refers to numerous myths in religions and philosophies all around the earth. There's no easy approach in a systematic manner, so I don't know if this one might help, but I try here. There is a genus called thuja which is named "Lebensbaum" or tree of life in German. Two of the five species are native in North America, three in eastern Asia. The leaves shown on Epiphone headstocks look pretty close to those of thuja. At the moment, the highest known thuja is the "Quinault Lake Cedar" in the Olympic Mountains in Washington State, USA. However, since thuja are no true cedars, it is recommended to call them redcedar or whitecedar. Redcedar is used as timber for guitars since several decades. Sleeko
To me it looks an awful lot like a rose branch with blooms. Epi featured roses on other headstocks like the Broadway for instance.

RobinTheHood
Epiphone calls it both "Tree of LIfe" and "Vine" inlay. So my question is; which is it? Vine ot tree?
