duluthdan
It would have been helpful to include the YouTube link. Afraid that it might have been viewed as a performance thread, and moved.
flatbaroque
Great song and performance by Steve. And a lovely example of the J-15 in action. Lucky it was moved to the Alaskan Wilderness up North where traffic is sparse and travelers are few to protect sensitive ears. By the same logic why aren't all the String, saddle and nut threads in the main forum moved to the other sticky thread up North???
Scootch
That's rollicking. Could someone tell me what's going on with the two capos? Edit: Never mind. He's emulating an alternative tuning. http://www.shubb.com/partial/
Phelonious Ponk
Nice clip. From there, I listened to the acoustic letters j 15/j45 comparrison. They are so close it's not even funny. P
Steve Scagell
Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you like the clip. The J-15 has an edge that encourages you go for it. You may notice the Martin hung on the wall, that's it where it has been since I've owned the J15. Thanks must go to Gibson for making such a great Guitar as such a great price. frenchie1281734003
Top drawer Steve, I really liked that. I played J-15/35/29 models last Saturday over at Dawson`s (Manchester) and was very impressed with both the J-15 & J-35. Not so much with the J-29 though. That was heavy and didn`t sound as good as the other two. Steve.
