Hollow Body 12 string

Did Epiphone ever make a hollowbody 12 string guitar? Something like a 12 string Casino?

I don't recall ever seeing one, but I am by no means an expert.

Don't think so. Can you imagine what "feedback" problems you'd have with

a 12-string version? [scared]

They did make the Riviera, in a 12-string version, but (of course) it's Semi-hollow

bodied.

Is the Elitist Casino a great guitar? I want to get one of those casinos!

Depends on what you're after, but I will say that of all my guitars, I've gotta agree with Macca, "If I could only have one guitar..." yeah, it's the Elitist Casino. Maybe I just got lucky, but I love this thing (see avatar)

Another great option to consider is the 'Eastwood Nashville 12' - if you can find one.

These are great guitars and have played them in the shop, wish I bought it when I had the chance. It appears to be a rare beast and no longer in production.

They are fully hollow with mini-humbuckers and 335 styled in a nice cherry finish.

Heres a video with decent audio:

More Their version of the Epiphone Riviera (Not the Gibson ES-335-12), right down to

the mini-humbuckers, and pickguard shape! Sounds Great, though! [thumbup]

I remember back in the seventies in our neighborhood we had a Byrds tribute

band. The lead player had some type of electric 12 string. I thought it was a hollow

body, but it must have been semi hollow, as we didn't have feedback issues,

No idea what brand it was, but it certainly was not a Ric. It must have been

some Japanese import, because I don't think there were any guitars coming

out of China then.

The guitar actually sounded pretty good, but my Pearl drum kit was awful

sounding.
