robertg1952
Did Epiphone ever make a hollowbody 12 string guitar? Something like a 12 string Casino? I don't recall ever seeing one, but I am by no means an expert. Bob

They did make the Riviera, in a 12-string version, but (of course) it's Semi-hollow bodied. CB
Dennis G
Don't think so. Can you imagine what "feedback" problems you'd have with a 12-string version? I've only had this for a week or so, but the feedback isn't as bad as on my Elitist Casino, although it's there. I'm still honeymooning with this thing though. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/G542212Bk/

Dennis G
Is the Elitist Casino a great guitar? I want to get one of those casinos! Depends on what you're after, but I will say that of all my guitars, I've gotta agree with Macca, "If I could only have one guitar..." yeah, it's the Elitist Casino. Maybe I just got lucky, but I love this thing (see avatar)
charlie brown
Casino's are Great! Elitist, are the top of the line, save the USA made versions...IMHO. But, for 12-string, and Epiphone, I'd go with a nice used "Elitist" Riviera 12! IF you can find one! The mini-humbuckers are excellent, on those 12-strings! Alan189
Another great option to consider is the 'Eastwood Nashville 12' - if you can find one. These are great guitars and have played them in the shop, wish I bought it when I had the chance. It appears to be a rare beast and no longer in production. They are fully hollow with mini-humbuckers and 335 styled in a nice cherry finish. Heres a video with decent audio:

robertg1952
I remember back in the seventies in our neighborhood we had a Byrds tribute band. The lead player had some type of electric 12 string. I thought it was a hollow body, but it must have been semi hollow, as we didn't have feedback issues, No idea what brand it was, but it certainly was not a Ric. It must have been some Japanese import, because I don't think there were any guitars coming out of China then. The guitar actually sounded pretty good, but my Pearl drum kit was awful sounding.
