dem00n
Does the black rubber on the stand mess up the color on the guitar?
deepblue
On a Fender no...On a Lester yes....Besides, the Fender stands dont give the stability needed to hold such a beast. Dont risk it.
dem00n
True but they seem rather good, thanks for the info anyway.
Homz
I have a sort of shaggy fabric (70's conversion van fabric) condom that goes over the fork like wall mount guitar hanger. It is only used when jamming on the weekends. rest of the week the guitar is in the display case.
dem00n
I belive that dispaly cases for guitars should only be for $1000 plus guitars cause i dont wana waste $300 for a glass case thingy for a $50 guitar. Mabye when im older ill do that for my first guitar since im emotional attached to it.

I got my fancy *** display case from my 'blue haired' old granny who recently moved to a full care facility and no longer had the room. She used to use it for her collection of crackle glass. Very cool case mirrored back oak and glass doors and sides. No particle board anywhere.

Fenders ( for the most part ) have a poly finish so it wont harm them....If you MUST use the Fender stand cover the contact points with 100% cotton. Dynadude
As a general rule, it's best to cover the rubber on stands with soft cotton cloth, regardless of what type of guitar you use it for.
