B1ues Boy Posted August 19, 2015 Author Share Posted August 19, 2015 My Sj 12 fret Special has lots of headroom more volume than any of my guitars and it's not even broken in yet I've seen Tony's video many times that is what prompted me to to get the SJ over a J-35 Limited Edition but the video I posted was new to me I guess I just need to make videos of mine so you guys can see Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jesse_Dylan Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 Neat guitar! I must have missed it in both videos, but is it still 24.75" scale length? People always think the "bigger body" on a 12-fret is the magic. Maybe it has something to do with it, but the body is not that much bigger. What I think is that it is the bridge placement, lower on the body, that creates the bigger, deeper sound. Ever since we moved away from that bridge placement, guitars have been a compromise.
