capmaster
Absolute pitch . . . . aka perfect pitch. . OK, I admit that I have the perfect pitch which makes things different. People with the perfect pitch instantly realize flat or sharp tunings whereas others state a duller or brighter sound. Hereby even count only very few cents deviation in both cases. Anyway, several billions of people on the Earth have the perfect pitch, most of them are native Americans, from Africa or from the Far East. Jesse_Dylan
Well, identifying and recreating are different from remembering. :) I think we're running into semantics here. Any time we hear a sound in our head, we're recreating it. But there is a big difference between recreating a sound in our head, and remembering a mahogany/spruce guitar from five minutes ago well enough to accurately compare to the same guitar with rosewood.
