BuddyHollywood
Hi! I'm new here but if you are on other guitar forums I also post on The Gretsch Pages and also My Les Paul. I may not be on My Les Paul much anymore. I recently sold my Gibson Les Paul Studio 50's Tribute to my brother and took some of the money and found a used 2011 Epiphone Casino 1961 reissue. YES! After a setup, truss rod tweak and a Lollar P90 shim for the bridge pickup this guitar is STELLAR! It's been a couple of weeks now and I'm still amazed. I'm floored by the sounds I'm getting, by the playability and by the overall construction of these guitars. Another 61 Casino reissue owner commented that these feel very close to how the vintage Casinos feel and I believe it. Since I bought it used there was no documentation in the case as to what number mine is of the 1,961 made. I sent an inquiry to Epiphone and gave them my serial number but they were unable to help. Has anyone documented who owns all 1,961 of these guitars? If not and you have one of these guitars or know someone who has one please have them respond to me here. I would love to find out where all of these guitars are in the world and also which number mine may be. Thank you! This picture is from the Craigslist ad the seller took to advertise my guitar. I'll take some better photos soon.

Cougar
I would love to find out where all of these guitars are in the world and also which number mine may be. AFAIK, your number is part of the serial number. You could try plugging the serial number into the Epiphone guitar dater.
bobouz
AFAIK, your number is part of the serial number. On mine it is not part of the serial number (all the numbers appear, but randomly).
LPS1976
If Epiphone can't tell you; I would imagine it would be impossible to find out. the number __ of 1961 is usually a random assignment.

Aster1
Happy New Guitar Day & Merry Christmas to you too!!! I'll check as I have two. One that I've barely played and one still new in the box (bought for a friend that never could afford to pay me for it, so it sits waiting for a home). I check both of them after Christmas on Sat. for you. Aster
