Epiphone Zakk Wylde - Fake?

Hello,

 

So, this guy has an Epiphone Zakk Wylde for sale. He claims to be " Ltd.Ed. from 2011 with EBONY Fingerboard".

But after searching the internet, something just doesn't seem right with this guitar.

Could somebody please help me find out, if it's real or fake?

 

I've attached the photos that the seller currently has in his ad.

a. Counterfeiters rarely produce fake Epiphones or Squiers.

There's precious little profit margin there.

They generally try to make more money by offering up fake Gibsons and Fenders.

 

b. It looks legit to me.

The Zakk Wylds model is one Epiphone that is known to have been counterfeited. However, I see nothing in your pics to suggest that yours is anything other than legit.

Perhaps some more pictures were helpful, but those you linked show nothing suspicious. The guitar looks legit to me.

Don't quote me on it, but deep in the recesses of my leperous mind, I recall seeing something about a ZW Epiphone with an ebony fretboard, around 2011.
