A short-scale Gibson is a great way to keep those rosewood overtones in check. And a bound neck Gibson is a beautiful thing. Isn't that Custom on Gumtree a very good price for UK? Mojorule Posted December 13, 2016 Share Posted December 13, 2016 Really not sure what's the going rate for s/h these days. There's an unscathed 2008 True Vintage J45 from Edinburgh on ebay. With 23 hours left to run, it's currently at £970 after 5 bids. Surely it'll go up, but it's not exactly top dollar at the moment. Haha: and lo and behold, four guitars down on ebay and up comes a J45 Custom in Truro at £1420 buy it now. Which is the very guitar that BBG has found in the Cornwall edition of Gumtree. And you can get a brand new 2016 Red Spruce Figured Mahogany Special J45 for £1181.26. If I were in the market for another slope, this one would be getting my attention.
