gvhbngh
Any of you know any one that could paint an sg to look like his?
rmngretsch14
'The Fool' did his---I suppose any other Dutch artist that is into psychedelia could do something of the sort, actually just find any artist and let them loose on your guitar and you'll probably end up with something wild and unique

rdclmn7
Todd Rundgren ended up with it. Cipollina customized both Strats and SG's to the extreme. You should have too many problems finding a graphic arts guy that can get you something to your taste.

GuitarJunkie
There's a company in the UK that sells guitars under the "Vintage" brand name. They're actually pretty decent guitars, especially for the price. They had a handful of their SG models hand painted to match Clapton's Fool. They're actually becoming pretty sought after. Check out the V6S model about a third of the way down this page... http://www.jhs.co.uk/vintageelectric.html There's a local shop in town that has/had one. I said "had" because they closed their store yesterday, but the owner is going to continue selling online. It was originally $1500 canadian (about $1200 US). I was in there yesterday as they closed up shop, and he had it marked at $1000 (about $800 US).

GuitarJunkie
I don't have that much money. The place I mentioned is about 300 miles north of you and wants about $800 US for the "Vintage" brand one.
solacematt
I guess that kind of thing would be cool for novelty purposes, but highly doubt it would be a great live guitar or recording instrument by any means.
