liberal or conservative or pathetically insecure

The reason Ron Paul couldn't get out of the gate can be summed up in two words. Texas Republican. That and he kept calling himself a Libertarian while he had an R next to his name' date=' and let me tell you, confusion during a campaighn never helps. And finnally, his biggest Faux-Pas was hammering away at Hillary Supporters during a Republican Primary. He had his phone banks calling Hillary Supporters instead of Republican Voters during a republican Primary. A High School freshman with a C in Social Studies could tell you whats wrong with that. :o [/quote'] I can tell you the main reason people didnt want Ron Paul. They dont believe in unbridled capitalism, basically better known as anarchy. These people that love calling Democratic policies "Socialism" apparently dont understand what socialism is. we have been living in a socialist-democratic country since before any of you were born. You apparently dont realize it yet. Highway system = socialism, police = socialism, military = socialism, electrical system = socialism, water works = socialism etc etc etc. Socialism n. A system or theory of social organization in which the producers posses both political power and production and distribution means (last i checked the American Heritage dictionary was a "liberal" dictionary)

Let me translate this for you. STOP LISTENING TO RUSH LIMBAUGH, GLENN BECK etc. I know they make it all sound so simple. IT ISN'T. Things simply arent that simple no matter how much you want them to be.

Please get over this stimulus bill too. I have no clue whether or not it will work. I can't stand people who feel the need to pick apart every bill and say "well that part of it wont help me". Every part of every bill isn't going to do anything for some people. If you want $2 billion dollars worth of a bill to all help YOU, then pay $2 billion in taxes. This bickering over (what often amounts to) small sums of money is just so ludicrous. Is this what capitalism has done to us? Ya know, Hoover got us in a mess, but he hit the nail on the head when he said (paraphrasing) "Wanna know the biggest problem with capitalism? Capitalists. They're too damned greedy". More true then anyone really knows or will ever confess to.

Going back to the socialism crap. Heres a simple solution for you (since I know how much people love to think everything is just so simple). If you dont like socialism, this isnt the country for you. Hasnt been for about a century now. Better find somewhere else to live. Try looking online to see what country has the happiest people. Ut oh, wait a sec. Their mostly socialist countries. Whoops! #-o (Oh wait that was probably a "liberal ranking system")

There are some among us born with out a humor and tend to be boring. My suggestion is to watch 'Caddy Shack' date=' Happy Gilmore, or The Jerk' if these don't help your condition seek help from a professional shrink.

Sorry to disappoint homz...but I've seen all of them and they're very funny. You're not.

Why in heaven's name would I want to see someone in a profession with a high suicide rate?

There's no trick to being a humorist when you have the whole government working for you.

Sarah Palin killed that for them. I liked her but she was no VP....

Incorrect. Palin didn't kill it for them, the economic downturn did it. If it wasn't for that who knows how the election would have turned out. Obama was losing points after Palin was announced. Then the downturn...and it all went to hell in a handbasket.

Come on you have to admit the 'd' swapped with the 'p' thing was hilarious. When I wrote it I nearly spit chereos out of my nose. Admitting the humor of that one line wont change your status as a 'know it all who frequently offers nothing but annoyances to most of us'. In fact it might make you more interesting and thus one who I might some day respect. Take Bluemoon for example. I really thought he was a class a jerk for a while. Now although were not friendly he has my respect and I would ask him guitar questions if the need arose.

Just some friendly advice.

No I don't have to admit it. I don't find insulting someone in that way "hilarious" and inspite of you thinking of me as "a know it all who frequently offers nothing but annoyances to most of us", I'm not. I know my limitations. You on the other hand seem to be the one who always has to be right (or left if you prefer) all the time, knows it all and has to insult others as a way of asserting that fact. I frankly don't need your "respect". I have the respect of those I work with as well as others. You want to talk guitars, fine...check the acerbic tongue at the door.

Ya see I gave you a way out. We could now be talking the finer points of weather to use a bone nut on a rebuilt D28 Martin, but you choose to thwart my friendly advances with your 'I superior to you ' attitude and I don't take well to 'know it all bullies'.

So being a good guy and in good spirits I off you the opportunity to critique a song the band and I did tonight. I suspect give your nature you will be the harshest critic I can find. Will you accept it? I will E mail it to you Y/N.
