David Lusterman
My name is David Lusterman; I'm the publisher of Acoustic Guitar magazine. I wanted to let you know that a custom Gibson SJ-200 built for us in 2000 is one of the highlights of a charity auction we are conducting now through May 10, 2020. The auction benefits the Bill Collings Memorial Fund which supports guitar education in public schools and public programs. I hope you'll want to learn more about this event.
fortyearspickn
Thanks for thinking to plug us in to this. If you could include a link to something relative to the guitar of the auction - it would be appreciated, I"m sure.

j45nick
Hi David, welcome. A lot of us here subscribe to Acoustic Guitar. The current issue sits on a music stand in my office.
David Lusterman
Glad to hear it! I’ve always been struck by the loyalty many readers show to the Gibson brand ... to use an overused word, it’s iconic. Whenever we write about Gibson guitars or Gibson players, we get a positive response that’s heartfelt. I’m glad to see the company has been rejuvenated and is really being a good steward of the Gibson name.

Murph
Man, that is a beauty. And the current bid is less money than I've lost in the last few weeks....
