Riffster Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 Yea, without even looking I can tell what guitar you are talking about. (don't have acces to ebay at work) it has been on ebay for a while. Is this the one where the guy sold the matching V right away? Korina is noticeably lighter than mahogany. Exploreres are really weird to collect, I have seen 2 actual 1977 models recently and their values are much lower than what they were commanding just a few months ago. There was one on Craigslist for $2,200 and 1 at GC for $4,500. The 1983 being a limited run of 100 and Korina is collectable but I would re-check their actual appraisal in this economy, prices have come down on this kind of items.
