AJWatson_69
Hello all, I have been searching wide and far for a piece of information that I hope someone can help me with. I have a 1994 Gibson J-30 AT. (see pic below) and I absolutely cannot find anywhere what the (AT) on the label means. Thank you in advance for any help. jedzep
My guess, Adirondack Top. I stress 'guess'.
gearbasher
Is it natural? If so, my guess would be antique. Then again AN would work better for antique natural. Edit. Then again, if it is natural maybe it should be AN and it's a typo on the label. Edited January 28, 2021 by gearbasher

I thought that as well, as I have seen a few (AN) labels. 🤔

jedzep
Well, that looks very much like the one being discussed in the AGF thread. If you click the word Gibson at the top of the page you'll be at the Gibson Guitar site. At the very bottom of the page is the 'contact' link. I'd send the same label pic and ask the question. AJWatson_69
Thats what I'm counting on to be honest. I can't see my question being of top priority to the big boys at corporate. 😁

jedzep
Like making ladder-braced guitars, the code makes no sense. Leave it to Gibson.
