rbpicker
Well folks, this might be more sap than anyone can handle, but here goes anyway. This is an old Red Foley /Arthur Willis tune written in ‘33. The song was covered by many artists over the years. I first heard Elvis’ cover when I was a teen and it really spoke to me for some reason. I hope I don’t get thrown out of the room for posting this one. Please indulge an old man digging up fond memories. Thanks for listening. Roger

MissouriPicker
I had literally forgotten about this old tune. Very nicely done, RB! That song is ideal for a coffeehouse gig....lol....Sweet and gentle, with lots of feeling in it. You have a real easy-going style.👍

rbpicker
Thanks very much, guys. I appreciate the feedback. You never know how these things will come off...somewhere between “OK” and “IRRITATING AS THE DICKENS”. At a minimum, they’re fun and it occupies some of my cooped up time in this cold Michigan weather. roger
