jdgm
Virtuoso pianist and jazz great Armando 'Chick' Corea passed away aged 79 on Feb 9th. This is a huge loss; he will be greatly missed. An iconic, brilliant and prolific modern jazz composer, musician and bandleader. Enormous recorded output, great tunes - fantastic range of compositions, stunning bands including Return To Forever. He brought guitarists Bill Connors, Al Di Meola and later Frank Gambale to prominence. SteveFord
I saw that earlier today, he was all the rage with the iconic Return To Forever band but I had no idea he had put out so many albums.

I used to play the s-hit out of Romantic Warrior. What group of mega players. RIP Edited February 12, 2021 by Sgt. Pepper
