It's made by a guy named John Bowman (at least I think that's what he says). They talk about that guitar and most of his others in the bonus Features on the DVD. It's worth renting just for that. They are made in Houston by my friend Eric Danhiem, Big Tex hisownself! I can't say Billy G is a close friend, but we are casual aquaintences and have spent lots of time talking guitars, wood and water transfer decals......he loves them!
