merciful-evans
Ok, we're a guitar forum, but fiddles are good too. Still going through my dusty CDs. Right now I'm listening to 'Diary of a Fiddler' by Darol Anger. This is track 2 Lee Highway Blues (with Stuart Duncan). I think its terrific stuff. I have a fiddle. I loved playing it but quit because my guitar playing started to suffer. I plan to try using it on a recording project later this year.

Murph
Jerry Garcia called Scotty the "Jimi Hendrix" of the fiddle. This is why.
gearbasher
As far as fiddle players go, I'll take Vanessa Mae. I can even mute the sound and still enjoy.

Sgt. Pepper
Its really a violin, but when its used in a Country, or Bluegrass band it gets a new moniker - The Fiddle. Boy don't come round these parts with that fancy violin. We use a fiddle in this here band. Edited February 9 by Sgt. Pepper

Sgt. Pepper
Here are some very nice boys form Georgia that have a violinist in the band. There are no vocals to distract you. When I saw them Mark O'Connor with on violin and not Mr. Sloan. Edited February 9 by Sgt. Pepper
