heymisterk
Hi All, I have a chance to buy a '05 LP Std. Faded for cheap. The catch? Headstock repair. It was done professionally and looks good. Question: I know obviously it lowers the guitar's value substantially, but if the repair has been done right - and it looks like it has been - will it remain sturdy? Thanks! Tim Plains
Substantially is the key word there... It'll be stronger than before.
deepblue
Its the REST of the guitar that will become the weakest link. Irony?
heymisterk
Yeah, that's why I can afford it: it's literally about 40% cheaper than one in fine condition.

GuitarJunkie
That seems like a decent price. If you can get it cheaper, even better.
