KSG_Standard
Neil Young's musical biography is on PBS' American Masters tonight. Have any of you seen this show before? Any Neil Young fans?

FirstMeasure
Thanks KSG, I'll check that out. I saw CSN in 2006, then CSN&Y in 2007. He really made a Rock&Roll show out of it. They're way better with him than without. I really like the Shocking Pinks album, too.
Hoyt
Big fan here -- acoustic and electric stuff. I'll try to catch the show if not too late. I know it was on the other night too, but I missed it. Thanks for posting. I like his earlier stuff best, but even the more recent albums like Glendale were quite good. He had one album I didn't care much for, Terminator, Decimator, Screw You or something like that, but the rest of the stuff is usually very good and quite often very different each outing. Neil Young live with Crazy Horse is the best live stuff. If you are into electric trains, young is the one to talk to.
deepblue
Neils cool!....Im just glad hes out of his "dress like a hippy phase" I heard, and I dont know if this is true or not, but in the early 1970's Neil bought up alot of Northern California land when it was cheap.....If so, hes a very wealthy dude today. KSG_Standard
Incredible body of work....covers a lot of genres and a lot of history. vourot
Man, I totally forgot that was on tonight. Man I have a pea brain.
bostonpaul03
I missed this tonight. I'm sure it will be replayed. Neil bought a huge ranch, on which he records and stores old cars. DON'T BE DENIED was a little noticed release from Neil. It might well have been the first Recorded Live With All New Material record released. (Rather than, say, A Best Of Release.)
