AXE®
Seriously. Sand it off carefully and re finish.
matiac
Acetone has a nasty habit of "etching" anything you put it on...really powerful solvent, mostly used by car refinishers before a primer coat to get all the dust, etc. off the work, as well as the aforementioned etching to help the primer stick better. I'd do what AXE says, and just do a whole lot of sanding.
Bluemoon
Sanding is fun. It is very therapeutic. Go slow and enjoy!
