The bulk of the stuff I have heard is really good, even with some of that eighties production. I like Weller's tone & chords and cannot get enough of his rhythm section. albertjohn Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 I was fortunate enough to see them live 3 times in the early 80s when I was at university in London. Real high energy stuff. Mainly the Ricky or Tele in those days. I was never a true fan but the wrote some great songs. I thought PW was a bit of a prat in those days, (Iwas a student so thought most people to be prats) but I've changed my views.
