WAL
Hi, I have an Epiphone G1275 (the Jimmy page double-neck "Stairway" copy) and I have managed to get a couple of "Gibson" stickers for the headstocks...........yeah I know it's a big pose, but what the hell!!!! It isn't simply a case of applying the stickers over the Epiphone logos (which may, or may not be inlaid anyway). So what's the best way of putting them on to give a finish that looks good and where the Epiphone Logo underneath can't be seen? daveinspain
Not sure on how to apply the stickers, you may want to find a Luthier and ask him. The only problem is the shape of the headstock will be a dead give away that its really and Epi... But hey, whatever turns you on...
Aaresz
I'm afraid any way you applied them it would look just like it is, a poor cover up. Epiphone makes a very nice guitar, I would enjoy what you have rather than try to hide it.
Gibson CS
I agree... Its a Epi....so what? leave it as it is. If you mess it up a itll look like hell. And as was said, the headstock is a dead give away. Save the sticker for the case.
Plank_Spanker
The headstock is a dead give away.............................and if I saw a Gibson sticker on one, my first thought would be poser!
TheLiveSoundGuy
Why bother with stickers? Just go silkscreen! Click picture for more details.
