I don't put a lot of stock in the Marshall videos, they can make a MG15 sound like a monster. I'm just saying...

HeadCase
+1 The Night Train is BADASS!! If it had reverb' date=' tremelo, and a footswitch I'd have one. Because I need those features, I'm saving for an AC30CC2. [/quote'] I had an AC30... the thing was WAY too loud! Could never really open it up and crank. HeadCase
What no love for the JVM? Yeah, I do like the JVM, a lot. Too many knobs, switches and tonal options for me though. I'm easily distracted and would waste too much time messing with them.
swleary
VOx Night train wouldn't be bad or the Orange tiny terror. Two amps I sadly never tried. The Ac30 I agree is loud and not much of a room amp. Marshall JVm series, now that's another interesting series that sound really good. Oh about the videos on Marshall, yes totally agree. They make everything sound so good. There is a video on youtube right now from the guy who normally tests the Orange Amps. He had a trip to the Marshall UK factory and was playing a class 5. It sounded like a total Metal amp, very distorted and no pedals laying around on the floor. I thought that was a little odd. It sounded so good too. Lowdown
Could've been the guitar - hot pups. This thing sings with an LP though. Can't wait to pop the new speakers cherry though. Then things should really get serious.
