Oubaas Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Recently played a 1950-something J-50 that spent a lot of time in the hands of the late Waylon Jennings. It was not in pristine condition by any means, but the tone was superb. Playability was about perfect, too. Could have picked it up for a good price, but as I mentioned somewhere else, I just bought a new horse. And that's all I have to do to make good deals on guitars appear like magic. In fact, somebody ought to follow me around with their money ready. When you see me spend my disposable cash on a horse, get ready for amazing deals on guitars. They hide them until I buy a horse.
