Smart-a$$ modding a Gibson double neck... :-)

THAT'S what I want.

Try swapping from low-volume 12 string stuff on the bridge p/u to a wide open bridge p/u solo on the six neck.

Easy' date=' eh?

Try it with[i'] my [/i]control scheme.

You would have to;

1. Swap the neck selector from 12 to 6.

2. Crank the volume wide open.

3. Adjust the tone.

4. Hope you have enough time between the guitar parts...

it is a pain in the rear, but try dialing the perfect stairway to heaven clean tone with only one volume knob for 2 pickups, i need more treble or bass, but I only have one knob to control both neck and bridge pickups, GAHHHHHH!

I suppose for your tastes, it would work better........

What is your SG 12 like for intonation?

One saddle to each pair of strings like a stock Rickenbacker.

SG 12 shares the same hardware as the EDS-1275.

I don't have any close-in pics handy, if I find some I can email 'em to ya.

Why ask?

Mod it so it works properly for you, of course.

What use is a guitar that doesn't work for you properly?

Hell; it's just a bit of solder'n'stuff...

You know what you need and how to do it.

So do it.

I'd love to hear the result, too.

JMHO.
