Smart-a$$ modding a Gibson double neck... :-)

I don't think I would mod it Neo, but it's your call.

Me . . . I'd keep it stock.

What is your SG 12 like for intonation? Does it have individual saddles for each string or is it one saddle to each pair of strings like a stock Rickenbacker?

I would really like to see a close up photo of the bridge assembly on your SG 12 if you have one please.

Going back to the EDS-1275. I've seen Done Felder playing one with TWO input jacks and two leads.

my doubleneck is wired just like pages, for better or FOR WORSE

the knob between the necks selects which pickup is on, the one on the bottom of the guitar when playing standing up selects the neck, the top knobs control the 12 string neck controls, the bottom knobs control the 6 string controls

i hate it, I much rather have all the tonal options for whatever neck is selected, then to have 1 volume and 1 tone for each neck

THAT'S what I want.

Try swapping from low-volume 12 string stuff on the bridge p/u to a wide open bridge p/u solo on the six neck.

Easy, eh?

Try it with my control scheme.

You would have to;

1. Swap the neck selector from 12 to 6.

2. Crank the volume wide open.

3. Adjust the tone.

4. Hope you have enough time between the guitar parts...
