nikko18
Hey guys, how you all doing. Been a while since I've posted anything but I have been thinking about this lately. Would it be possible to have a goldtop but have the finish be more clear then usuall so you can see flame maple through to gold?
Silenced Fred
Never seen one, might be possible. I don't know how it would look, I kind of like the plain top BTW, please shorten the line above your sig, its a little too long...
GibsonAlmighty
For the right price, everything is possible.
bubba_leon
I actually saw one on Ebay about 3 years ago. It was however quilted maple rather than flame. It was stunning to say the least. Sold for about 5k
NeoConMan
I'm thinking they actually did something like that within just the last couple of years. Limited run. I don't recall the particulars about the guitar, just that it was an oddity. I remember being less than excited about it, the gold and wood grain colors sorta clashed. NeoConMan
There it is then. Axe, did you spot anymore cool sights before crossing the Colorado River and leaving AZ behind? That's a beautiful drive across I-10...
AXE®
I did. Mostly wide open plains or mountains. And a donkey in New Mexico. Her name was Vera.
nikko18
Well that's not quite what I was thinking. That's more of a burst with gold around then outside turning into just a clear finish on the inside. I was thinking more a long the lines of gold every where with the flame under it. Also, I don't like how the gold hard ware with the gold finish looks at all. It's just to much gold! xD
