KORSKA Posted May 2, 2010 Share Posted May 2, 2010 just to add to your question ... i have a 2008 red wine LP studio and a 2009 LP goldtop. the goldtop does sound better but the studio isnt far behind, the goldtop is made from much better wood which has alot to do with the sound thats produced. but all the hardware on a studio generally is the same hardware thats put on all LPs even the pickups. i play my studio when i play shows and it sounds kickass.
