Larsson
Hi, so i wondered today what i should use when i need to 'rub my fretboard, i have heard people use lemon oil i think? but im not too sure... also can anyone suggest how often this should be done? SweetMarie
Lemon Oil is OK on rosewood (I don't like it on ebony)- a lot of the guys here recommend Fret Doctor. Once or twice a year should be plenty in the UK I'd think...if the board really dry let it sit for a few minutes before wiping it off.

lespaul339
I just use the gibson fretboard conditioner stuff. I figure if it's designed by them then it's safe to use on their guitars.

Kimbabig
I really like using woodwind bore oil, It's cheap and it works on Rosewood and Ebony.
