Hi,

 

so i wondered today what i should use when i need to 'rub my fretboard, i have heard people use lemon oil i think? but im not too sure...

 

also can anyone suggest how often this should be done?

Lemon Oil is OK on rosewood (I don't like it on ebony)- a lot of the guys here recommend Fret Doctor.

Once or twice a year should be plenty in the UK I'd think...if the board really dry let it sit for a few minutes before wiping it off.

how do i use the fret doctor stuff, how long should i keep it on? how do i apply it? and how do i know if ym fretboard is dry?

I leave FD on for an hour. Its the best.
