Violin virtuoso, Itzhak Perlman contracted polio as a young child. He learned to walk with braces and crutches. At one performance, he alighted to the stage with leg braces and crutches. Finding his seat, an attendant handed him his violin. He began. Mid-performance a string on his violin broke. The music stopped. He thought for a moment. Then nodded to the conductor to proceed. Having mentally figuring out how to play the tune with only three strings, instead of the usual four, he completed the piece. When asked about the feat of genius. He said, "Sometimes it's not what you do with what you have, but rather what you do with what you have left."

"If you find your truth you must follow it. You could find it in a paper bag, or in a statue, or in a slaughterhouse; you might find it dangling somewhere. People might say “What the heck are you doing?” but it’s ok if they don’t understand. And if you follow it, stay true to it, and respect it, you could be in store for the greatest journey you could ever imagine" - Buckethead
