Thin Lizzy

This lineup of Thin Lizzy was awsome. I always found it odd but cool that Scott Gorham was the only American in the band. They were one of a kind and very unique.

been jammin to Still in love With You on Live &Dangerous

Gorham nails it the second lead break with his LP deluxe

He seems to have the blues edge on Robertson who is faster but not as melodic

Just discovered this

Fantastic resource for Thin Lizzy fans of the guitar

I always thought the boys tuned down a semi tone

I understand Kiss and many others do aswell

Knowing that makes jammin a dream

on the "jam with" cd and tab book (that i play along to) it's in standard tuning but yes i do believe they used to tune down when playing live...[biggrin]

They'd have been one of the best bands ever if Lynott hadn't died (drugs). The line up changed a few times. Gorham was an average player. Moore was great. Brian Robertson was superd for a kid or 18. One of the best live acts of the era.

Lynott- 'Have any of you girls got any Irish in you?' 'Would any of you Like some Irish in you?' Great live line.
