You see them peddled on E-bay, quite often. Might try Gibson CS/Parts, too?

Worth a try, anyway.

Another place is called "Part is Parts," in Vermont. They have all kinds of

Gibson, Epiphone, and other maker's parts. www.guitar-parts.com

Other's here, will have more sources, I'm sure...

Didn't realize that CB, good point. Still something I would probably still do my self, get the dimensions and modify it. I'm considering - just considering, creaming my Sheraton and would just buy cream pickguard stock and cut it and bevel the edge. I also do custom leather work and have considered carving a custom pickguard for it if I can come up with a theme I think I would want on it.

Here's something you may or may not know...the reason why some c. 1965 thin lines such as the Casino and ES-330's have that black ring is because around this time they started using more-automated construction methods and one procedure change was using an air gun and socket to put on the pup selector and pot nuts...and it took them a bit to get the right amount of torque and when there was too much torque it'd crack the finish...so they used a goof ring to hide the damage to the switch and dress washers on the pot nut areas . So the next time you see one of those little rings remember that it's probably hiding something (unless it's just for show as on the Lennon reissues)...and not all '65 Casinos have that ring...mine doesn't and never did....but they do look kinda cool..

...and Al's your uncle.
