Epiphone would make one of these:

I'm almost to the point of wanting to buy a goldtop and put some GFS minihums in it...

Of course, I KNOW I'd end up going townshend on it and putting a full size humbucker in it...

The only les paul deluxe gibson is still making is like 5000 dollars...

I'd like a zero off of that for an epi. (~500)

Well, Ian...I look at it this way: At least Epiphone offers ya some kind of Goldtop to play on, even if it isn't your exact specific model.

*sniff*

Oh woe is me! No Goldtop for the lefties!!

(Posts picture and then starts crying like a little girl 'cause there's no GAS to be had...)

The minihums fit in P-90 routes, you can make you're own Deluxe. Just get a '56 Goldtop, remove the P-90s and replace them with minis. I believe Duncan makes minis with the proper LP-D rings (as opposed to the flat Firebird style surrounds). The LP-D ring is just a P-90 cover with the center cut out to fit the mini.

Here's my Gibby LP-D, originally I put P-90s in it but now I have Bill Lawrence minis:
